Sustainability through green technology

At GA, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) are being critically embedded not only to our operations, but also the significant impact over the lifecycle of our deliverables through green technology.

Green technology, with the goal to protect the environment, refers to any product or services that improves operational performance while also reducing costs, energy consumption, waste, and mainly, negative effects on the environment.

We believe by finding sustainable substitutes to mineral-based and petroleum-based material, societal needs will be met without depleting or damaging natural resources.

Although the motivations behind it is very complex and personal, everyone working at GA is passionate on making a change to create high performance solutions from kenaf for a sustainable future.

Circular Economy

Currently, our economy works in a take-make-waste system, where we take raw materials from the Earth, make products from them, and eventually throw them away as waste. This system definitely no longer works because the resources on our planet are finite.

We must now support material that is allowed to re-enter the economy at the end of their use. With an emphasis on its technical cycle, we can stop waste before it is even created, and be part of the circular economy itself.
